Hi, I’m Dr. Christian Rummell, and I’ve spent the last three decades working at the intersection of youth development, mentoring, and social change. I believe in the transformative power of relationships and in the possibility of a world where every young person  can grow into their potential.

I’ve led national research studies, designed training programs, and partnered with foundations, nonprofits, and schools across the country. I conducted one of the first studies that examined how mentors can support identity development in LGBTQ+ youth.  

I created Mentorist and The Assets of Pride to create actions for support that I never had and that research shows us can really matter—especially for young people in this moment.
