Hi, I’m Dr. Christian Rummell, and I’ve spent the last two decades working at the intersection of youth development, mentoring, and social change. I believe in the transformative power of relationships—and in the possibility of a world where every young person feels seen, supported, and full of hope.
I’ve led national research studies, designed training programs, and partnered with foundations, nonprofits, and schools across the country. But my work didn’t begin in a classroom or through a professional title. It began in lived experience—as a young person navigating a world that often didn’t understand me. It deepened through relationships that made me feel safe, mentors who showed up when it mattered most, and a growing belief that we all have the power to create the kind of support we once needed.
I created Mentorist and The Practices of Showing Up to help adults move beyond intention to action. This work is about listening, learning, and showing up in ways that build trust, hope, and belonging—especially in a moment when so many young people are searching for connection.
